Landon turned three months old on Friday. He has been changing so much in the past two weeks. Our nights are getting better because he is sleeping for about six hours when we put him down around eight. Then he wakes up and eats and goes back to sleep for another three to four hours. I'm sure it won't be much longer until he is sleeping through the night. The other Huge news is that Landon rolled over from his stomach to his back four days before his three month birthday!! He is now rolling over so fast that I tried to get it on video today I couldn't get the camera ready in time:). Here is a video from a few days ago when we were at Travis's grandparents visiting. That's all of us cheering him on in the background.
Landon is also blowing bubbles and reaching for toys and faces. He gives great kisses (he always opens his mouth as we give him kisses). He is drinking about four to five ounces five to six times a day. We get many adorable smiles and he is much more content to just sit on your lap or lay on his play mat without fussing. Every day we are so amazed at how perfect he is, we are so in love with our little man. Kimberly took his 3 month photos but for now here are pictures from our photo session:).

Chicago
On April 14th we were able to get away for the weekend and go to Chicago with Scott and Ashley. We had a great time! It was good to get away but we missed our little guy like crazy and it was only TWO days!!! Makes me wonder how on earth I'm going to be able to go back to work on the 25th :(. Landon stayed with Mom and Dad for the weekend. Unfortunately he was not in the best of spirits on Saturday (he probably missed us:) but Sunday was better for Grammy and Gramps.
We stayed at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Chicago. It is a gorgeous 5 star hotel that we got a super deal on because of Scott's corporate rate with Net Jets. We did some shopping, walked around Navy Pier, went on a boat tour and ate at a few great restaurants. For dinner we went to Fogo de Chao the brazilian steakhouse. It was very good but that was a lot of meat!! We are all full so like the old party poppers that we are we ended up going back to the room and playing a few competitive games of Sequence then we all crashed. HAHA I guess that is what parenthood does to you.
The suite was larger than our apartment in Carmel...crazy! |

Easter
Easter was the first Sunday that we attempted to take Landon to church. Unfortunately attempted was the key word. He was asleep until the sermon started then he'd had enough. In his defense we did throw him off his eating schedule so hopefully each Sunday will get easier. Other than church not going quite as planned we had a great day. Easter is the holiday that we get to host at our house so Dad, Mom, Tricia and Jason all came for church and lunch. Travis went into work a couple hours late so he could spend more time with us.
Sitting up like such a big boy! |
Everyone wanted to wear Landon's tie |
Jason even tried to switch with him :) |
